About the Artist:
Benoit Linero is a Franco-Spanish photographer born in 1971 in Neuilly-sur-Seine in the suburbs of Paris. His parents soon moved “to the waterfront”. He grew up in the Sables-d’Olonne and developed, through his proximity to the ocean, a highly cinematographic visual sensibility.
A passionate autodidact, he is a self-declared hypochondriac and takes on his 20 years of psychoanalysis with a great sense of humour. It’s a history that offers a sharp look at the world around him and the images it offers up. Having briefly worked as a television journalist, he returned to his fist love: photography. He has regularly worked for magazines such as Elle, Télérama, L’Oeil, Grazia, Casa da Habitar, etc.
His meeting with be-poles offered up new horizons. He created images for a number of the studio’s projects, including Merci, Moismont, the NoMad Hotel, JEM, Maison & Objet, Caran d’Ache and most recently the Le Pigalle hotel.
Passionate about architecture, gastronomy and hospitality, it’s hardly surprising that
Le Ritz, Alain Ducasse and Stéphanie Le Quellec at Le Prince de Galles have called on his services, as has Christophe Aribert, with whom he was awarded first prize at the International Culinary Photography Festival.
He has also collaborated on a number of publishing projects including a work on “Christophe Aribert” and a work on the baker “Christophe Vasseur” and his
“Du Pain et Des Idées” bakery...
