I lived in Florence when the official currency was the Lira. In the Summer of 2017 I returned with my children and parents for my Father's 70th birthday. I told him I would take him anywhere for dinner. He chose Buca Lapi, the namesake city for this gorgeous cookbook by Emiko Davies.
